Kin-Day Family Day and Annual Spring Open House

Fountain City, Wisconsin: Kinstone Megalithic Garden, dubbed “Wisconsin’s Stonehenge” will host their annual Kin-Day Family Day and Spring Open House on Sunday, May 3 from Noon to 5pm. This event is free and open to the public. Enjoy live music by Patina (Noon to 3pm), kids story time and activities with Dawn Tevis (12:30pm), “Secrets of the Stones” told by founder/creator Kristine Beck (2:30pm), and a close-up live raptor demonstration with River Valley Raptors (3:15pm) as we celebrate the opening of our 15th season. The Labyrinth, Chapel of Creation, Great Stone Circle, Dolmen, Dragon’s Keep, sauna, yurt and other features will be open and available for exploration throughout the day. Regional artists are invited to paint outdoors around the grounds during this event. Tansy’s Traveling Kitchen food truck will be offering their excellent local, made-from scratch fare. Homemade pie and cookies, coffee, tea, soft drinks will be available for purchase in the Visitor Center until gone. Held rain or shine. Dress for the weather; wear sturdy walking shoes.
