2025-NOV-14. We are still open with regular hours (10am to 3pm) for visitors today through Sunday, November 16. Today and tomorrow look to be amazing fall days with temps in the 50's and 60's (F). Come out and see us for one last time before we close for the season!
This photo was shot on a stormy sky day around Nov 1, 2025. The pumpkins on the posts were always a gift from my sister Sara each year in early October. She would go get the pumpkins and put them on the posts so I would be surprised one morning upon arriving to Kinstone. It was so fun! Sara passed from this world on Feb 6 of this year. So, it was a bittersweet and joyful surprise when her son Cole and my sister, Betsy continued the tradition this year in Sara's honor. My heart was so happy to arrive one day and see them standing sentinel all along the road. This photo shows them nicely. It is now mid-November and the pumpkins have been removed and fed to Sara's flock of chickens which are still going strong under the care of Sara's husband, Michael. Full circle. Full heart. 🧡🍂
Also, note the limestone pieces in the foreground of this photo - they will be part of the D.Clare Memorial installation - which is in full planning mode and we've already done a bit of work toward it. The full installation will wait until next year.

Today Buffalo County had two businesses receive recognition for their involvement and importance to the region. The Coffee Camper received recognition for being one of the top new businesses in the Western WI region. B&S Express was nominated by local business leaders as the top small business in Buffalo County and was in the running for the Western WI Small Business of the year. This was in part due to the heavy community involvement and support of other local businesses. We should all be very proud of these businesses and the people that run them! Please remember to get out and support all of our local businesses, the more you can support them, the more they can support our local economy. Congratulations to The Coffee Camper and B&S Express! ... See MoreSee Less
