DESCRIPTION:A Tintinnabulation of handbells ringing in the GREAT STONE CIRCLE!! WHOA! – this is an impromptu\, fun experience you won’t want to miss. (note… this is NOT a concert – rather a small group session of amazing musicians gathering to make music amidst the standing stones of Kinstone). Donation based performance.\nStrikepoint\, an internationally-acclaimed handbell ensemble based in Duluth\, MN\, will be playing for the love of the bells in a small group session at Kinstone. Visitors to Kinstone are invited to listen and experience the uplifting joy of their playing of the bells.\nThe music will be offered in the Great Stone Circle (weather dependent) for free-will donations. A collection basket will be available near the performance. All donations will go to this group! If weather is not ideal\, the session will move to one of our sheltered locations (e.g. Chapel\, Dragon’s Keep or Education Center Porch).\nWe may see some portion of Strikepoint’s huge collection of bells\, chimes and other instruments in this impromptu session with them at Kinstone; however please be informed that this is NOT a concert. There are millions of Geocaches worldwide. Geocaches are found in parks\, urban areas\, forests\, deserts\, on top of mountains\, underwater\, and pretty much anywhere you can imagine.\nGeocaching 101 will introduce you to the basic fundamentals of Geocaching and using GPS on your smartphone. This class consists of a large display explaining Geocaching and also examples of all of the different sizes and kinds of containers you could find. This app is on your smartphone and you will be shown how to get the coordinates to find caches in the area. There are Geocaches in Merrick State Park and we are planning (weather permitting) to hike to these caches on Sunday morning at 9:00am.
