DESCRIPTION:Join us to acknowledge the Winter Solstice by watching the sunrise with us in the Great Stone Circle. This will be a quiet\, meditative event with a short opening rite and reading(s) to help us welcome Winter and send Autumn on its way with blessings.\n\nCOST: admission to Kinstone (pay in person at the Kinstone Visitor Center upon arrival); No Registration Required\nNOTE: The ticket link on this event takes you to the online store to purchase a DAY PASS. For more information about this event and guidance for parking\, weather related cancellation info\, and more\, visit our website at the link provided below.\nWHEN: Sunday\, December 21\, 2025 Time: 6:45am – 8:15am\nWHERE: Kinstone\, S3439 Cole Bluff Ln\, Fountain City\, WI 54629\nWHAT TO BRING: feel free to bring a reading or poem about winter\, winter solstice\, snow\, or other winter theme to share. Wear boots and bring extra winter gear to put on if you wish to go out to the Circle to watch the sunrise – it can get pretty cold!\nIMPORTANT: We will gather at 6:45am inside the Visitor Center for a short program before walking to the Great Stone Circle.\nPLAN TO STAY AND SHOP! Our Gift Shop will be open – this is a great time to get last minute holiday gifts!\nWeather and snow conditions permitting\, we will proceed together from the short program area to the center of the Great Stone Circle. Given fair weather and clear skies\, we will watch the sun as it crests the ridge and beams through the Chair Stones.
